After Care
At Trinity School, we're dedicated to creating a nurturing and secure environment for our students, not just during school hours but beyond. Our Trinity Lions on Campus (TLC) is more than just an aftercare service—it's a space where our Middle School students (grades 7–8) can feel at home, even after the school bell rings.
Operating throughout the school year, TLC provides a supervised, cozy, and productive atmosphere for students who stay on campus past 3:00 p.m. It's where they can unwind, socialize, enjoy a healthy snack, and focus on their homework in a setting conducive to learning.
Meet Mr. Ricky Oliver, Our TLC Coordinator
Leading the TLC is Mr. Ricky Oliver, a seasoned educator with a passion for student welfare. A former University of Denver scholar with dual bachelors' degrees in Sociology and Psychology, as well as a teaching license, Mr. Oliver brings more than thirty years of experience in both public and private educational settings. His journey includes roles as a teacher, school social worker, and administrator. He also holds a master's degree in Social Work and Principal Licensure accreditation.
Mr. Oliver's commitment to student development is deeply rooted in his faith, as reflected in his favorite scripture, Galatians 2:20: “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
This verse is not only a personal inspiration for Mr. Oliver but also his heartfelt prayer for the entire Trinity Community.
At Trinity School, our faculty and teachers are the heart of our mission, breathing life into our Christian ethos every day. They are more than educators; they are mentors, guides, and exemplars of the faith we cherish.
TLC Program Details
- Hours: Available after school until 5:00 p.m. during school days.
- Location: TLC is located on the first floor of the South Building.
- Enrollment: Parents can enroll their students in TLC for the Fall, Winter, Spring, or for the entire academic year.
- Sign-In Policy: Middle School students not engaged in supervised activities (like tutoring, clubs, or sports teams) after regular school hours must sign in at TLC by 3:00 p.m. Parents will be notified for pick-up and billing purposes.
Pricing
- 3:00–5:00 p.m. – $1,000 per year (or $400 per sports season)
