COMMUNITY

Advancement at Trinity

The crucial question for us is not whether it takes a village or a family to raise a child, but rather whether we parents of Trinity can shape such a village that will help us to do well what God has called us to do.”

– Dr. Chip Denton
(A Village Called Trinity, pg. 5)

It takes a family. It takes a village. At Trinity, our entire school community—parents, grandparents, alumni, parents of alumni, Board members, community partners, businesses, and friends—are partners in our mission to educate the next generation of Christian leaders.

What makes Trinity special is that it is primarily a mission-driven school. You, using the unique time, treasures, and talents that the Lord has given you, make a difference to the school. Whether you volunteer your time, share your wisdom, contribute your support, or spread the word, your impact helps us achieve our mission: to educate students using the classical tools of learning and providing a rich and unhurried education while communicating truth, goodness, and beauty.

Ways to Get Involved

Volunteer Opportunities

  • There are many opportunities to serve using your time and talents. Parents serve the school through the Trinity Parent Organization (TPO), discovering fundraising and volunteer opportunities that align with their interests and schedule. Trinity grandparents meet regularly throughout the year, attending or volunteering at our annual Grandparents and Special Friends Day celebration, blessing the faculty and staff with flowers on Daffodil Day, and participating in Grandparent Treat Day each spring.

Make a Gift and an Impact

  • Trinity Fund Giving: Your giving to our annual fund, called the Trinity Fund, makes an impact by allowing us to advance the mission of Trinity. Giving to the fund supports every aspect of a Trinity education, from arts and athletics to educational materials and faculty development. You can read more about the Trinity Fund below.
  • Other Gifts: Giving a restricted gift, or a gift to a specific fund, supports the projects and initiatives that you are passionate about. Many generous donors give to the arts, athletics, Sunshine Tuition Assistance Relief fund, and more. View our guide to giving below to learn how you can make a restricted gift.

Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.

– Matthew 5:16 (Living Bible)

The Trinity Fund

By supporting the Trinity Fund, you help teach the next generation to love learning for its own sake, pursue truth, goodness, and beauty, and live a rich and unhurried life—all for the glory of Christ.

The Trinity Fund is vital to our school’s operations because it covers about 3% of our total budget—the portion not covered by tuition and other revenue (such as from our endowments). Healthy annual Trinity Fund giving supports a robust experience for our students and teachers, from arts and athletics to educational materials and faculty development.

Every dollar given to the Trinity Fund is used in the current school year, which means your investment goes to work immediately and directly toward the education of our students.

As a part of our community, you are warmly invited to join us in supporting our school’s mission and investing in the next generation through Trinity School.
